Vote for Experience & Continuity

About John Wylie

My wife and I are proud to call Brackettville and Fort Clark Springs our hometown. Like many longtime residents, we grew up watching our families serve this community—through law enforcement, public office, and volunteer work—and that tradition of service deeply shaped who we are. We’ve also had the unique perspective of seeing Fort Clark Springs in its better days, which fuels our commitment to restoring and preserving it for future generations.

As many of you know, I own multiple businesses and have experience in project management, construction, heavy equipment, land and wildlife management, real estate, and years of safety training. In the past three years volunteering, I’ve learned even more about accounting, audits, collections, property taxes, and management software, to name a few. I can honestly say I have used all my skills and knowledge to the best of my ability to serve FCSA.

I am currently serving as Vice President of the FCSA Board of Directors. Working with fellow board members, both past and present, we’ve made a lot of progress. But as the membership knows, there’s always more work to be done. I still believe very strongly in restoring the foundation of FCSA before pursuing large-scale projects. Fiscal responsibility, thoughtful revenue growth using existing assets, and careful stewardship of both current and future funds have guided my decision-making as a Board Member for the past three years. Above all, I am and will continue to be committed to serving the best interest of the membership.
